The Texas Breast and Cervical Cancer Services program provides potentially lifesaving mammograms and pap tests for low-income women and connects them to treatment options when needed. ACS CAN works each legislative session to maintain the state’s investment in this federal-state partnership.
During the 2017 Texas Legislative session, ACS CAN maintained the current annual state investment of $2.6 million.
